I’m leaving Jakarta, Indonesia tomorrow. I’ll be going to Almaty, Kazakhstan, to meet some Borat over there (wait, a teacher of mine have already tested this) via Seoul, South Korea. And why I go there?

1. To prove that Borat is not a Kazakh journalist. Borat is a comedian, actually =))
2. To justify my teacher’s experiment last year: Asking “Do you know the movie Borat?” to Kazakh people, and see how their face turned into.

WAIT. Why does this post sound more and more Borat? FORGET ABOUT BORAT! And the real reason is…

• Participating in International Zhautykov Olympiad 2010.

And I’ll be going to have some ice-skating there. Oh, and maybe make some snowman, and throw some snowball. It’s going to be freezing over there with -10 degrees at night. I hope the worst didn’t happen, -20 degrees of Celsius? That would break my bone.

OK, time to sleep, time to rest. It’s already 4 am, and I’m still blogging with listening to songs.

I was just thinking about making a math competition here, in my website. The purpose is to broaden the mathematical skills of everyone.

The problems won’t be too hard, even obvious for some IMO competitor, as this competition act as an inspiration for starters in olympiad.

The language of the competiton will be Indonesian (Bahasa), and English. The problems will be posted at a subdomain of wangsacl.com. However, this is a competition for free and for fun.

This is just an idea, but it will be implemented and created somewhere along this week.

This competition acts as a replacement of a delayed competition created in olimpiade.org.

Saya baru berpikir untuk membuat sebuah kompetisi matematika olimpiade di sini, di situs ini. Tujuannya adalah untuk memperluas kemampuan matematika semua orang.

Soal-soalnya tidak akan terlalu sulit; bahkan beberapa akan tampak sangat mudah bagi para peserta IMO, karena kompetisi ini bertujuan untuk menginspirasi para peserta olimpiade.

Bahasa yang digunakan adalah bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Inggris. Soal-soal akan dituliskan di sebuah subdomain pada wangsacl.com. Tetapi, kompetisi ini tidak berhadiah apa-apa, hanyalah kompetisi untuk kesenangan semata.

Saat ini, ini hanyalah sebuah ide, tapi akan diimplementasikan dalam seminggu ke depan.

Kompetisi ini adalah pengganti sebuah kompetisi yang terlambat diadakan.
